Bill Cordrey is a Director in GAO's Financial Management and Assurance team. Bill joined GAO in 1987, and has led both programmatic and financial audits. Bill currently oversees audits of DOD and the military services' financial management and accountability over nearly $1.3 trillion in mission critical assets such as equipment, munitions, repair parts, and property.

Bill earned a master's degree in theology from Luther Rice University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from University of Tennessee. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager.

Bill works in GAO's Atlanta Field Office.
